Our Educational Psychologist delivers packages of support to schools via annual SLAs, visiting regularly across the school year from as little as a day a term, up to multiple days each month. This allows for a responsive psychological service and a creative approach to meeting school need – as it arises- through the delivery of a variety of solutions, including consultations and assessments to identify additional needs in individual children.
Due to our model of delivery our EP is often booked months in advance, due but we realise that sometimes an assessment of need becomes urgent. If capacity is available a single appointment can be booked, but as capacity is often very limited, we now offer a NEW hybrid model, with a quicker response time:
Initial online consultation with our Educational Psychologist to determine the goal of involvement and explore concerns. Initial advice will be offered and the focus of the school visit, including assessments to be completed agreed.
Our Assistant Psychologists will undertake the school visit, under the Educational Psychologist’s direction; this usually includes observation, direct assessment and discussion with key staff.
A report will be written by the Assistant Psychologists, under the supervision of the Educational Psychologist.
Follow up online reviews or schools visits as required.
