OUR SMALL BUT VERY FRIENDLY TEAM NEEDS YOU TO HELP US GROW AND DEVELOP
Part or full time applications welcome.
edPsychology Solutions Ltd. has been providing support to schools from 2018 covering the pan-Lancashire area and beyond. Over recent years we have grown from an individual concern to a small and super friendly team of four: the Managing Director/ Educational Psychologist, two Assistant Psychologists and an Office Manager. Having happy staff who enjoy their work and feel connected to their colleagues is a priority to us.
Our mission is twofold:
- To apply psychology creatively through employing a broad range of skills at systemic, group and individual levels. We deliver a broad range of services including training (inc. Elklan and ELSA training/ supervision), research and development projects (e.g. the Sandwell Wellbeing Chartermark) and are actively involved in a district wide project aimed at supporting inclusion in primary-aged children.
- To work collaboratively with school staff and other professionals, providing an embedded service that fosters strong relationships, allowing us to utilise strengths in systems and use them to effect positive change to promote optimal development for all children.
We work remotely from each other, either being in schools or homeworking; despite this we tend to be in touch with each other on an almost daily basis and get together to talk work (or not!) frequently. Regular supervision and CPD opportunities are highly valued.
We need an EP who is:
- Confident being home-based, working autonomously with excellent time-management, and comfortable seeking colleague support.
- Committed to applying psychology creatively, building strong relationships and working collaboratively with partner schools.
- Forward thinking and keen to contribute to service development.
- Able to travel to settings across the pan-Lancashire and (potentially) Cheshire areas.
We offer:
- Term-time only + 5 days
- Personal CPD budget of £1,000, in addition to CPD for all staff
- 8% pension contribution
- Maternity: Statutory until 12mths service, rising to 90%
